# Overview

Guardians of the Car (GOTCAR) is a mobility-focused Web3 project built on **AI-based precision positioning** using standardized vehicle data.

The platform delivers accurate positioning at **less than 5% of the cost** of conventional precision localization technologies, while maintaining broad compatibility and scalability across mass-produced vehicles. This enables adoption across most commercial vehicles without requiring specialized hardware or vehicle-specific customization.

Participants in the ecosystem—including **drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists—are collectively referred to as “Guardians.”** Through their everyday mobility activities, Guardians contribute real-world positioning and movement data to the network.

GOTCAR operates a **G2E (Guardians-to-Earn) application** that rewards Guardians for their participation, creating a **positive AI feedback loop** in which increased engagement leads to higher-quality data, improved AI-based positioning intelligence, and continuous ecosystem enhancement.
