# Token economy

$GOTCAR is a **utility token** designed to support participation, service usage, and ecosystem growth within the GOTCAR platform. It is not intended as an investment product and does not represent equity, profit-sharing, or ownership in any entity.

The GOTCAR token economy is built around a **participation-driven utility loop**:

**Participation → Data → Services → Usage → Continued Participation**

GOTCAR operates a **Guardians-to-Earn (G2E)** model to encourage user participation.

* Users become *Guardians* by engaging in everyday mobility activities, including:
  * Driving
  * Walking
  * Cycling
  * Motorcycling
  * Public transportation usage
* Guardians earn **Points** based on verified activity metrics such as distance, duration, and consistency.
* Points may be exchanged for **$GOTCAR tokens** according to ecosystem policies.

Rewards are designed to incentivize sustained participation rather than speculative behavior.

Mobility data collected through G2E participation is anonymized and analyzed to improve platform services, including:

* AI Agent–based road and situational guidance

Users who contribute data benefit directly from improved service quality.
